Won't You Be My Neighbor?

Could there be better weather than we had yesterday? Absolutely perfect. Sunny, about 70 degrees, nice breeze. This is weather you just can't pass up. So, I blew off going to the gym and took my crew out for a walk to the park. The park experience wasn't anything spectacular, but the walk up and down my street was. I learned so much about my neighborhood! For example, a family on my street has a pet bobcat. Has a collar and everything. I didn't know that before yesterday (and wish I didn't know it now). I also learned that a couple on my street are former international missionaries who are now ministering here. In fact, they've already led my neighbors to a personal relationship with Jesus! How cool is that! I was able to talk with a young couple who are considering purchasing the house for sale across the street. I really hope they do. I was able to share my new-found information with them (admittedly, I left out the part about the bobcat). My next-door neighbors now have their grandchildren living with them, so now Scarlette has a new playmate just her age. Just a great afternoon all around. So there's no moral to this story, no speech, no list. Just wanted to share. Here a few pictures of the little ones....
